Welcome to Once A Tree Designs, by Craig Grogan and Cheryl Grogan

Once A Tree Designs began with a simple desire - to work with my hands, learn something new, and find healing after the sudden loss of someone I loved. What started as a way to process grief grew into a passion for woodworking, for discovering the stories hidden in every knot and grain of wood.

Life brought new love and a new chapter when I remarried, and today my husband and I create together - side by side in our workshop on top of the hill, surrounded by the beauty of nature that inspires us daily. Together, we breathe new life into old wood, designing and crafting each piece to highlight its unique character.

Our Mission

We are committed to environmental sustainability and craftsmanship excellence. Every piece we create honors the natural beauty of wood while giving new life to materials that might otherwise be discarded.

What We Do

We work with both domestic and imported hardwoods and softwoods, carefully selecting and finishing each piece to its nature beauty shines. Whether its a a vessel, board, or custom design, every items carries the mark of our hands, our love of the craft, and our belief that wood deserves to live on as something beautiful and lasting.
